AXIO-NET EU - Borderless Accuracy

3rd July 2009 marked the start of a new era for AXIO-NET: with the station set-up at Kings Lynn in UK the first signals were fed in a Europe-wide reference network of AXIO-NET. Thus, the way was paved for the border-crossing, homogeneous application of the AXIO-NET correction data.

The new correction data service of AXIO-NET throughout Europe - the first one of its kind - is a milestone in the history of the European reference networks.

With a network comprising approx. 60 GNSS stations a border-crossing service providing an accuracy in the submeter range has been achieved for the first time, with this service being superior to those of EGNOS or Beacon.
